The Catholic University of Korea is a private Roman Catholic university in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It was established in 1855. The Catholic University of Korea operates campuses in Seoul and in the neighboring Bucheon. The Catholic University of Korea Songsin Campus is situated 260 metres east of Byeolmaru-gwan.

Hyehwamun Gate

Hyehwamun, also known as Northeast Gate, is one of the Eight Gates of Seoul in the Fortress Wall of Seoul, South Korea, which surrounded the city in the Joseon period. The gate is also known as Dongsomun. The gate was originally called Honghwamun. Hyehwamun Gate is situated 260 metres northeast of Byeolmaru-gwan.

Changdeokgung

Changdeokgung is a former royal palace in Seoul, South Korea. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Historic Site of South Korea, it is among the best preserved of all Korean palaces. Changdeokgung is situated 1 km west of Byeolmaru-gwan.
