The Idaho State Capitol in Boise is the home of the government of the U.S. state of Idaho. Although Lewiston briefly served as Idaho's capital city from the formation of the old federal Idaho Territory in 1863, the territorial legislature moved it to Boise on December 24, 1864. Idaho State Capitol is situated 1,800 feet east of The Alaska Center.

The Idanha Hotel is a historic building in downtown Boise on the corner of 10th and Main Street, built in Boise, Idaho in 1901. The Idanha Building opened and functioned as a hotel until it was transformed into an apartment building in the 1970s.
