The China Millennium Monument is a monumental complex centered around a structure that evokes both a monumental Chinese altar and a sundial. Associated with Jiang Zemin, it was championed from 1994 by CCP official Zhu Xiangyuan. The China Millennium Monument is situated 800 metres southwest of 远香园.

The Capital Museum is an art museum in Beijing, China. It opened in 1981 and moved into its present building in 2006, which houses a large collection of ancient porcelain, bronze, calligraphy, painting, jade, sculpture, and Buddhist statues from imperial China as well as other Asian cultures Part of the museum's collections were formerly housed in the Confucius Temple on Guozijian Road in Beijing. Capital Museum is situated 1½ km southeast of 远香园.
