Minami Hokke-ji is a Buddhist temple located in the Tsubosaka neighborhood of the town of Takatori, Nara Prefecture Japan. It belongs to the Shingon sect of Japanese Buddhism and its honzon is a statue of Jūichimen Senjū Kannon. Saigoku No.06 Minami-hokke-ji (Tsubosaka-ji) is situated 1½ km west of Takatori Castle.

The Kitora Tomb is an ancient tumulus located in the village of Asuka, Nara Prefecture, Japan. The tomb is believed to have been constructed some time between the 7th and early 8th centuries, but was only discovered in 1983. Kitora Tomb is situated 3 km northwest of Takatori Castle.
