Voždovac is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. According to the 2022 census results, the municipality has a population of 174,864 inhabitants. The municipality is located in the south-central part of the urban area of Belgrade and in the central section of the wider Belgrade City area. Voždovac is situated 160 metres west of Merin Hill.

The Rajko Mitić Stadium, previously known as Red Star Stadium, also known as Marakana, is a multi-use stadium in Belgrade, Serbia, which has been the home ground of the Red Star Belgrade since 1963. Red Star Stadium is situated 1¼ km southwest of Merin Hill.

It is the biggest library, and oldest institution in Serbia, one that was completely destroyed many times over in the last two centuries.
