Arch of Freedom of the Ukrainian people

The Arch of Freedom of the Ukrainian People, formerly known as Peoples' Friendship Arch, is a monument in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It was opened on 7 November 1982, amidst the celebration of the 1,500th Anniversary of Kyiv, to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the USSR and the "reunification of Ukraine with Russia in 1654". Arch of Freedom of the Ukrainian people is situated 140 metres southeast of Bridge over Volodymyrskyi Descent.

The Ukrainian House International Convention Center, is the largest international exhibition and convention center in Kyiv, Ukraine. The five-storey building is the host venue for a variety of events from exhibitions, trade fairs and conferences to international association meetings, product launches, banquets, TV-ceremonies, sporting events, etc. Ukrainian House is situated 240 metres southwest of Bridge over Volodymyrskyi Descent.
