Hassan’s Tower

Hassan Tower or Tour Hassan; is the minaret of an incomplete mosque in Rabat, Morocco. It was commissioned by Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur, the third caliph of the Almohad Caliphate, near the end of the 12th century. Hassan’s Tower is situated 750 metres west of Grand Theatre of Rabat.

Bab el-Mrissa, also known as Bab al-Mellah, is a gate in the city of Salé, Morocco. The gate was commissioned by the Marinid sultan Abu Yusuf Yaqub ibn Abd Al-Haqq between 1270—1280. Bab el-Mrissa is situated 1 km northwest of Grand Theatre of Rabat.
