The Cité de la Mer is a maritime museum in Cherbourg, France. The museum is in the cruise terminal of Cherbourg. This monument was built in 1933; it is one of the bigger art-deco monuments of today.

Le Redoutable was the lead boat of her class of ballistic missile submarines in the French Marine nationale. Commissioned on 1 December 1971, the boat was the first French SNLE. French submarine Redoutable is situated 220 metres north of Cherbourg Maritime station.
