Coptic Museum

The Coptic Museum is a museum in Coptic Cairo, Egypt with the largest collection of Coptic Christian artifacts in the world. It was founded by Marcus Simaika in 1908 to house Coptic antiquities. Coptic Museum is situated 3½ km northeast of Western Al Omraneya.

Hanging Church

Saint Virgin Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church, also known as the Hanging Church, is one of the oldest churches in Egypt which dates to the third century. It belongs to the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria. Hanging Church is situated 3½ km east of Western Al Omraneya.

Mosque of ‘Amr ibn al-‘Āṣ

The Amr ibn al-As Mosque is a mosque, located in the Fustat neighbourhood of Old Cairo, Egypt. Named in honour of the Arab Muslim commander Amr ibn al-As, the mosque was built in c. 642 CE as the centre of the newly founded capital of Egypt, Fustat. Mosque of ‘Amr ibn al-‘Āṣ is situated 4 km northeast of Western Al Omraneya.
