St. Mary's Catholic Church is a Catholic parish in Boise, Idaho, in the West Central Deanery of the Diocese of Boise. It was erected by Bishop Edward Kelly in 1937 as Boise's second Catholic parish; the city's Catholic population had grown too large to be served solely by the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. St. Mary’s Catholic Church is situated 2,700 feet southeast of Cruzen.

The Idaho State Capitol in Boise is the home of the government of the U.S. state of Idaho. Although Lewiston briefly served as Idaho's capital city from the formation of the old federal Idaho Territory in 1863, the territorial legislature moved it to Boise on December 24, 1864.
