Zossen is a German town in the district of Teltow-Fläming in Brandenburg, about 30 kilometres south of Berlin, and next to the B96 highway. Zossen consists of several smaller municipalities, which were grouped in 2003 to form the city.

Mittenwalde is a town in the Dahme-Spreewald district, in Brandenburg, Germany. It is situated 30 km southeast of Berlin. On May 28, 1562, the town of Mittenwalde lent Berlin 400 guilders, a debt which has never been repaid, though the town has attempted to collect the debt on rare occasions.
