The Chicago Illinois Temple is the thirty-fifth temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is the second of three church temples that have been built in Illinois. Chicago Illinois Temple is situated 1,000 feet southeast of Brookview Village.

Kennicott Grove is an area of prairie and wooded lands that includes the home of John Kennicott and his family, including his son Robert Kennicott. John Kennicott was an agriculturalist and a doctor.

Glenbrook South High School, or GBS, is a public four-year high school located in Glenview, Illinois, a north suburb of Chicago, in the United States. It is part of Northfield Township High School District, which also includes Glenbrook North High School. Glenbrook South High School is situated 2,300 feet east of Brookview Village.

Once home to the Glenview Naval Air Station, the 1,121-acre facility was turned over to the local government and was redeveloped as The Glen, one of Glenview's prime residential and commercial areas.
