Maverick station is a rapid transit station in Boston, Massachusetts. It serves the MBTA's Blue Line and is located at Maverick Square in East Boston. It is the easternmost underground station on the Blue Line and a transfer point to various buses. Maverick station is situated 940 feet southeast of Maverick Landing.

USS Cassin Young

USS Cassin Young is a Fletcher-class destroyer of the United States Navy named for Captain Cassin Young, who was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroism at the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and killed in the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal in the fall of 1942. USS Cassin Young is situated 3,300 feet west of Maverick Landing.
