The National Marine Aquarium of Namibia is an aquarium in Swakopmund, Namibia. The Aquarium features fauna from the cold Benguela Current in the southern Atlantic Ocean. The aquarium has been closed for repairs since 2023 according The Economist.

Swakopmund, known as Swakop, is in the Erongo region of Namibia. It is the country's biggest coastal town and a resort for Namibians on holiday. The city's German origins are quite pronounced in beautiful old German colonial buildings throughout the city, making an even starker contrast for this town sitting at the edge of the Namib Desert.

Mondesa is a suburb of Swakopmund in central western Namibia. The residential area is located in the northeast of the town. In the northwest, it borders on the neighbourhood Tamariskia and in the south on the industrial area.
