Brazi Power Plant

The Brazi Power Station is a thermal power plant located in Brazi, a commune in Prahova, Romania, with two operational generation groups, one 105 MW and one 25 MW, resulting in a total electricity generation capacity of 130 MW.

The Petrom Brazi Power Station is one of the largest electricity producers in Romania, having 2 natural gas-fired groups of 430 MW each, totalling an installed capacity of 860 MW and an electricity generation capacity of around 6 TWh/year. Petrom Brazi Power Plant is situated 660 metres southwest of Brazi Power Plant.

Petrobrazi Refinery is one of the largest Romanian refineries and one of the largest in Eastern Europe, located near Ploiești, Prahova County having as a main activity the processing of Romanian oil but also has a separate unit specialised in processing chemical products. Petrobrazi Refinery is situated 1¼ km south of Brazi Power Plant.
