The Lyceum was a temple in Athens dedicated to Apollo Lyceus. It was best known for the Peripatetic school of philosophy founded there by Aristotle in 334 BC. Lyceum is situated 2 km west of Πανεπιστημιακό Γυμναστήριο.

Since then it has been augmented with two more halls and now has a total of four: two large and two smaller ones. Athens Concert Hall is situated 1¼ km northwest of Πανεπιστημιακό Γυμναστήριο.
