Vancouver Aquatic Centre

The Vancouver Aquatics Centre is an indoor facility. It replaces the Crystal Pool at Sunset Beach that was opened in 1928 and was demolished in 1974. A contract to renew the facility was let in 2023 and the project is expected to take seven years to complete. Vancouver Aquatic Centre is situated 290 metres southeast of Sunset Beach.

Bard on the Beach is Western Canada's largest professional Shakespeare festival. The theatre festival runs annually from early June through September in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Bard on the Beach is situated 320 metres southwest of Sunset Beach.
