Diocletian's Palace is an ancient Roman palace and fortress complex in Split, Croatia. It was built at the end of the third century AD by the Roman Emperor Diocletian as his retirement residence. Diocletian’s Palace is situated 140 metres northwest of Pazar.

The cathedral is the seat of the Archdiocese of Split-Makarska, currently headed by Archbishop Zdenko Križić. Cathedral of Saint Domnius is situated 110 metres northwest of Pazar.
