Palais Epstein

The Austrian National Library is the largest library in Austria, with more than 12 million items in its various collections. The library is located in the Neue Burg Wing of the Hofburg in center of Vienna. State Hall of the Austrian National Library is situated 530 metres east of Palais Epstein.

The Volkstheater in Vienna was founded in 1889 by request of the citizens of Vienna, amongst them the dramatist Ludwig Anzengruber and the furniture manufacturer Thonet, in order to offer a popular counter weight to the Hofburgtheater. Volkstheater is situated 240 metres southwest of Palais Epstein.

The Vienna State Opera is a historic opera house and opera company based in Vienna, Austria. The 1,709-seat Renaissance Revival venue was the first major building on the Vienna Ring Road. Vienna State Opera is situated 800 metres southeast of Palais Epstein.
