It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Simplon line of Swiss Federal Railways and the terminus of three 1,000 mm gauge lines operated by Transports Publics du Chablais: the Aigle–Leysin, Aigle–Ollon–Monthey–Champéry, and Aigle–Sépey–Diablerets lines. The Collombey Refinery was an oil refinery located in the municipality of Collombey-Muraz, in the Canton of Valais, Switzerland. Constructed by the Italian energy company Eni, it operated from 1963 to 2015 and was owned by Tamoil at the time of its closure. Collombey refinery is situated 1½ km southeast of Zone Industrielle Rosses.
