The German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, in short Leopoldina, is the national academy of Germany, and is located in Halle. Founded on 1 January 1652, based on academic models in Italy, it was originally named the Academia Naturae Curiosorum until 1687 when Emperor Leopold I raised it to an academy and named it after himself.

The Moritzburg is a fortified castle in Halle, Germany. The cornerstone of what would later become the residence of the Archbishops of Magdeburg was laid in 1484; the castle was built in the style of the Early Renaissance. Moritzburg is situated 120 metres south of Logenhaus Halle.

The Kunstmuseum Moritzburg Halle is the art museum of the state of Saxony-Anhalt in the Moritzburg in Halle, Germany. It emerged from Städtisches Museum für Kunst und Kunstgewerbe der Stadt Halle, founded in 1885. Kunstmuseum Moritzburg Halle is situated 110 metres south of Logenhaus Halle.
