It connects 42nd Avenue North in the Camden community’s industrial area on the west side of the river to 37th Avenue Northeast in Northeast Minneapolis on the east side. Camden Bridge is situated 1¼ miles south of The Healing Center.

The westbound bridge was built in 1963 by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, and widened in 1987 with a new structure above the piers.
