Suō Kokubun-ji is a Shingon-sect Buddhist temple in the Kokubunji neighborhood of the city of Hōfu, Yamaguchi, Japan. It belongs to the Kōyasan Shingon-shū sect and its honzon is a statue of Yakushi Nyorai. Suō Kokubun-ji is situated 490 metres east of Hōfu Tenmangū.

It occupies part of the Former Mōri Clan Main Residence, dating from the Meiji and Taishō periods, of which twelve component structures have been jointly designated an Important Cultural Property and the gardens a Place of Scenic Beauty. Mōri Museum is situated 1¼ km east of Hōfu Tenmangū.
