Venetian Arsenal
The Venetian arsenal at Gouvia was a shipyard built by the Republic of Venice during their rule over the island of Corfu. It was located on the west side of what used to be called "Govino Bay", the current location of the modern village of Gouvia. Venetian Arsenal is situated 1¼ km west of Kontokali Beach.
