The Former Jewish School in Leer is a cultural and memorial site in the county seat of Leer in East Frisia. The institution, run by the district of Leer, describes itself as a "place of remembrance and commemoration, for exhibitions and cultural events on Jewish life then and now." Leer is a town in the district of Leer in the region of East Frisia, in the northwestern part of Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated on the river Leda, a tributary of the river Ems, near the border with the Netherlands.
