Hōrai-ji is a Shingon Buddhist temple located in the city of Shinshiro, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Its main image is a statue of Yakushi Nyōrai. The temple is located on the 695 metres Mount Hōrai and is accessed by a flight of 1425 steps. Horai-ji Temple is situated 160 metres west of Toshogu Shrine.
