It is an intermediate stop on the 1,000 mm metre gauge Furka Oberalp line of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn and is served by local trains only. The station forms part of the Furka Oberalp Bahn, which connects Brig in Valais, via Furka Base Tunnel, Andermatt in Uri, with Göschenen, Uri, and Disentis/Mustér, Graubünden. Fiesch railway station is situated 2 km south of Primarschule Fieschertal.
