Varben is a village in central Bulgaria. It has a population of 147 as of 2022. It was established by refugees from the village of Poibrene, after the Ottomans quelled the April Uprising of 1876. Varben is situated 4½ km southeast of Сърнегор.

Suhozem is a village in the Kaloyanovo Municipality, Plovdiv Province, Bulgaria. As of 2006 it has 173 inhabitants. The village finally has got a church from 2002 when the new "Sveta Sofia" is consecrated by the bishop Arsenius. Suhozem is situated 8 km southwest of Сърнегор.
