Sighișoara Citadel

The Historic Centre of Sighișoara is the old historic center of the town of Sighișoara, Romania, built in the 12th century by Saxon settlers. It is an inhabited medieval citadel that, in 1999, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its 850-year-old testament to the history and culture of the Transylvanian Saxons. Sighișoara Citadel is situated 1½ km southeast of Sighișoara.

Lepers' Church is a church located on the Târnava River bank of Sighișoara, Mureș County in Romania where is it part of the Sighisoara Citadel. It is located in the extreme northwest of the old neighbourhood of Siechhof. Holy Spirit Church (Lepers‘ Church) is situated 1 km east of Sighișoara.

Tailors‘ Tower

The Tailors' Tower, belonging to Mureș County in Romania was built in the 14th century. It is located opposite to the Clock Tower and it guards the second gateway into the Citadel of Sighişoara. Tailors‘ Tower is situated 1¼ km southeast of Sighișoara.

Sighișoara is a city on the Tarnava River in Mures county, in the historic region of Transylvania. German craftsmen and merchants, the Transylvanian Saxons, were invited here by the King of Hungary during the 12th century to settle and defend the frontier.
