Rerrin is the main village on Bere Island, within County Cork in Ireland. The village is located on the north of the island and is next to the sheltered mooring of Lawrence Cove. Rerrin is situated 3½ km northeast of Pragh Rock.

Castletownbere is a port on the Beara Peninsula in County Cork in the southwest of Ireland, with a population of 1000 in 2021. It's doubly sheltered: Bere Island creates the long anchorage of Bearhaven, then Dinish Island sits just outside the harbour.
