The Anchorage Alaska Temple is the 54th operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the first in Alaska. Dedicated on January 9, 1999, by church president Gordon B.

Potter Marsh is a wetland and wildlife viewing area, located south of Anchorage, Alaska, US, at the southern end of the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge. Potter Marsh is situated 2 miles southeast of Sunset Hills West.
