Nastola is a former municipality of Finland. It was merged with the city of Lahti on 1 January 2016. In the province of Southern Finland, Nastola is part of the Päijät-Häme region.

Karisto is an area in the city of Lahti, Finland. Karisto used to belong to the municipality of Nastola until 1956. Karisto as an area used to mean the hilltop of Karisto and also the coast side, but later on, Karisto became bigger and it spread to the area called Järvenpää.
