Bykivnia graves

The Bykivnia graves are a National Historic Memorial next to the former village of Bykivnia within Kyiv woodland, Bykivnia Forest. During the Stalinist period in the Soviet Union, it was one of the unmarked mass grave sites where the NKVD, the Soviet secret police, disposed of thousands of murdered "enemies of the Soviet state". Bykivnia graves is situated 1½ km northeast of Берізка.

Lisova is the terminus station of the Sviatoshynsko-Brovarska Line on the Kyiv Metro system that serves Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It opened on 5 December 1979. Metro station Lisova is situated 2½ km west of Берізка.
