Yeoncheon

Yeoncheon is a county in northern Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, bordering North Korea along the Demilitarized Zone. The county is surrounded by other notable areas, including Paju to the south, Cheorwon to the north, and Dongducheon to the east.

Yeoncheon Station is an at-grade metro station on Line 1 of the Seoul Subway in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The station is the northern terminus of Line 1 and serves as a major transportation hub for the region.

Sinmang-ri

Sinmang-ri station is a railway station on the Gyeongwon Line located in Sang-ri, Yeoncheon-eup, Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Sinmang-ri is a settlement established by the US military in 1954 for war refugees, and its name means New Hope Town.
