Little Zab River
The Little Zab or Lower Zab is a river that originates in Iran and joins the Tigris just south of Al Zab in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. The Little Zab is approximately 400 kilometres long and drains an area of about 22,000 square kilometres.| Tap on a place to explore it |

Al Zab
Town
Al Zab, Al-Zab, or Az-Zab is a town in Iraq administered as part of the Kirkuk Governorate's Hawija District. Between 2014-2017, it was under the control of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and was recaptured by Iraqi government forces during the Hawija offensive in September, 2017. Al Zab is situated 3 km northeast of Little Zab River.
