Bombo Regional Hospital is the referral regional hospital in Tanga, Tanzania. It was built by the Germans in 1901, the first hospital in East Africa. The hospital is affiliated with the National Institute of Medical Research center in Tanga, to which it is adjacent.

Mkwakwani Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Tanga, Tanzania. It is used mostly for football matches, being the home venue for Coastal Union F.C., African Sports, and JKT Mgambo. It has a seating capacity of 15,000 people. Mkwakwani Stadium is situated 3½ km southwest of Tanga Bay.
