Bombo Regional Hospital is the referral regional in Tanga, . It was built by the Germans in 1901, the first hospital in East Africa. The hospital is affiliated with the National Institute of Medical Research center in Tanga, to which it is adjacent.

is a multi-purpose stadium in Tanga, . It is used mostly for football matches, being the home venue for Coastal Union F.C., African Sports, and JKT Mgambo. It has a seating capacity of 15,000 people.

was a co-educational, private, secondary school in the north-eastern city of Tanga. It was one of the oldest schools in the city.
