Olduvai Gorge

The Olduvai Gorge or Oldupai Gorge is a paleoanthropological site in northern . Many sites exposed by the gorge have proven invaluable in furthering understanding of early human evolution.

The is located in the in Northern on the edge of the Olduvai Gorge. The museum was founded by Mary Leakey and is now under the jurisdiction of the Tanzanian government's Department of Cultural Antiquities and is managed by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority.
