Kechut, formerly Kushchi and Kush-Bilyak, is a village in the Jermuk Municipality of the Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia. It is located on the western coast of the Kechut Reservoir which is a section of the Arpa river, as well as at the beginning of the Kechut–Azatek waterway, which is one of the artificial waterways that provide water to Lake Sevan and stabilize its water level. Kechut is situated 3½ km south of Dzhermukskiy Vodopad.
