Lawyacado is a town in the Awdal region of Somaliland. It is situated on the border with Djibouti. The town across the border in Djibouti is Loyada, a name derived from the Afar language, which when rewritten in Somali style becomes Lawyacado.

Damerjog or Damerdjog is a village located in eastern Djibouti, populated by farmers and gardeners, located in the Arta Region, 16 kilometres southeast of the capital Djibouti, north of the border with Somaliland. Damerdjog is situated 7 km west of Loyada.
