Damerjog or Damerdjog is a village located in eastern Djibouti, populated by farmers and gardeners, located in the Arta Region, 16 kilometres southeast of the capital Djibouti, north of the border with Somaliland. Damerdjog is situated 4 km west of ‘Atar.

Loyada is a small town in Djibouti. Located in the Arta Region, it is the only official border crossing from Djibouti into Somaliland. It is situated on the west coast of Gulf of Aden, 25 kilometres from the capital, Djibouti. Loyada is situated 5 km southeast of ‘Atar.

Lawyacado is a town in the Awdal region of Somaliland. It is situated on the border with Djibouti. The town across the border in Djibouti is Loyada, a name derived from the Afar language, which, when rewritten in Somali, becomes Lawyacado, which translates to "with a white calf". Lawyacado is situated 6 km southeast of ‘Atar.
