‘Ain Ghazal

Ayn Ghazal is a Neolithic archaeological site located in Amman, Jordan, about 2 km north-west of Amman Civil Airport. The site is remarkable for being the place where the ʿAin Ghazal statues were found, which are among the oldest large-sized statues ever discovered. ‘Ain Ghazal is situated 3 km north of Wādī al Kharīţah.

Roman Theatre of Amman is a 6,000-seat, 2nd-century Roman theatre. A famous landmark in the Jordanian capital, it dates back to the Roman period when the city was known as Philadelphia. Roman Theater is situated 3 km west of Wādī al Kharīţah.
