Tell Abu al-Kharaz was the site of a fortified town during the Bronze and Iron Ages; it is located in the Jordan Valley, 4 kilometers east of the Jordan River. Tell Abu al-Kharaz is situated 4 km west of Z̧ahrat al Jūd.
