Al-Bassah is a town in the Amman Governorate in northern Jordan. The town is known for Roman-Byzantine architectural remains of a large cave church, and a second church built outside in front of the entrance. Al-Bassah is situated 3½ km north of Al-Bahhath.

'Iraq al-Amir or Araq el-Amir is the name shared by a town and nearby caves, within the municipality of Amman in the Jordan Valley. Located about 15 km southwest of the town of Wadi as-Seer, it has a population of about 6000 people, mostly members of the Abbadi tribe. Iraq al-Amir is situated 4½ km west of Al-Bahhath.
