Tell Abu al-Kharaz was the site of a fortified town during the Bronze and Iron Ages; it is located in the Jordan Valley, 4 kilometers east of the Jordan River. Tell Abu al-Kharaz is situated 3 km south of Tall Abū ‘Allūbah.
