Gavros is a village in Meteora municipality, Thessaly, Greece. Until 2010, Gavros was part of the former municipality of Chasia. Gavros is situated 6 km northwest of Vlachava.

The monastery-crowned pillars of Meteora are among the most striking geological and cultural gems of Greece. The formation consists of a number of steep and narrow rock pinnacles near the town of Kalambaka in northwestern Thessaly, topped with a total of 24 monasteries, 6 of which are still in use and open to visitors.
