Exarchos is a village in Phthiotis prefecture, central Greece. It is located in the southern part of Phthiotis, in Locris, 18 km west of Atalanti. The village is located on the slope of Mount Chlomo at a height of about 300 meters. Exarchos is situated 5 km south of Skárfi.

Atalanti is the second largest town in Phthiotis, Greece. It is located southeast of Lamia, north of Livadeia and northwest of Chalcis. In 2011, it was incorporated into the municipality of Lokroi with an area of 614.7 km2 and a population of 19,623, of which it is the government seat and a municipal unit. Atalanti is situated 5 km northeast of Skárfi.
