The Monastery of St. Rousanou is a former Greek Orthodox monastery near the town of Kalambaka, in the Thessaly region of central Greece. It is located at the top of a rocky precipice over 415 metres above the Pineios valley floor. The Holy Monastery of Roussanou is situated 160 metres north of Moní Roussánou.

The monastery-crowned pillars of Meteora are among the most striking geological and cultural gems of Greece. The formation consists of a number of steep and narrow rock pinnacles near the town of Kalambaka in northwestern Thessaly, topped with a total of 24 monasteries, 6 of which are still in use and open to visitors.
