Ovnat is a small Israeli settlement in the West Bank, Palestine, on the western shore of the Dead Sea, about 7 km south of Kalya and 12 km north of Mitzpe Shalem. Ovnat is situated 4½ km east of Khirbat Umm al Awtād.

Kalya is an Israeli settlement organized as a kibbutz in the West Bank. It was originally established in 1929 but was occupied and destroyed by the Jordanians in 1948; it was later rebuilt in 1968 after the Six-Day War. Kalya is situated 10 km northeast of Khirbat Umm al Awtād.
