The Arab American University or AAUP is the first private university in Palestine founded in 2000. AAUP's main campus is located near Talfit in the south of the Jenin Governorate. It has another campus at Al-Reehan in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. Arab American University is situated 4 km northwest of Raba.

Telfit is a Palestinian village in the Jenin Governorate of Palestine, in the northern West Bank, located southeast of Jenin. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics census, the village had a population of 238 in 2007 and 439 by 2017. Telfit is situated 3½ km northwest of Raba.

al-Mughayyir is a Palestinian village in the West Bank, located 12 km Southeast of the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 2,240 inhabitants in mid-year 2006 and 3,249 by 2017. Al-Mughayyir is situated 3½ km north of Raba.
